The excursion will commence with us picking you up from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech. We will drive to the majestic High Atlas mountains. Enjoy the picturesque panoramic views of the valleys and the barren rugged terrain of the mountains. The road takes us to the Tizi N'Tichka Pass (2260 meters) which then leads us down into the valley towards Ouarzazate, the \u201cSahara's Gateway.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Skoura Palm grove, the Skoura oasis palm grove which, along with the stunning palm filled oasis landscapes offers a rich history, traveling further brings us to the world-renowned Rose Valley. The valley is famed since local women harvest the roses in April and May and turn them into beauty products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next stop is the Dades Valley, which is famous for its gorges and have mind-blowing view thanks to the revolutionary rock formations and the Boumalne Dades area. In that order, the irremediable gorges along with midland palm groves transform Tinghir into a remarkable serene village giving it the firm title of charming village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon passing Alnif and Rissani, the desert landscape opens up until we get to our destination: Merzouga. At this point, we will trade our cars for camels and ride them into the desert at sunset. The view of Erg Chebbi's golden dunes is phenomenal as they seem to extend forever and the sun sets within them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
